During the month of June 2017, Rumford Little League & Esperanza-Hope will be collecting new/used baseball equipment & school supplies. Esperanza-Hope will deliver these supplies in July to children in the Dominican Republic. All donations can be dropped off at Kimberly Rock Field. Lent is a period of 40 days, which begins on Ash Wednesday and ends on Holy Saturday. Lent is often a time of repentance, fasting, and preparation for the coming of Easter. It’s a time of self-examination, reflection, and  focus on one’s relationship with God. Many people choose to give up something, or to volunteer and give of themselves in service to others, during these 40 days. 

It is our pleasure to extend an invitation to you, to the 8th  Annual Lights and Sirens International Men’s Basketball Tournament. This tournament is composed of professional middle age players and provides positive sportsmanship and leadership to our youth both domestic and internationally. Lights & Sirens International mission is to support and develop the community through education, health & cultural exposure, by providing charitable  services and supporting local health and education initiatives.  Lights & Sirens International’s vision is to educate, inspire and empower residents of the Latin Community and beyond, through sports, entertainment, education, health and entrepreneurship. The tournament is to be held in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.  This event is scheduled for February 15, 2017 to February 22, 2017.
