Please join us for a special Toy Drive! URI Athletics in partnership with Lights & Sirens International and Esperanza-Hope is hosting its 3rd Annual URI Toy Drive on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the SOLD OUT men’s basketball game vs. Providence. The game is scheduled to start at 5:00 pm with doors open at 3:30 pm. Fans attending the game are encouraged to arrive early and to bring a new unwrapped toy to the game. The first 250 fans to donate will receive a free Rhody Cell phone Wallet. Be part of the spirit of giving and help those in need this holiday season! The toy drive is being held to benefit children in Rhode Island and in the Dominican Republic. Former Rhode Island men’s basketball player Ibn Bakari played a key role in organizing the drive.
